Disclosure Scotland is offering an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual, with excellent communication skills to serve as a Non-Executive Member of the Disclosure Scotland Board.
Disclosure Scotland is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government with a high customer focus, operating on behalf of Scottish Ministers. We help employers make safer decisions when they are recruiting people. We also make sure unsuitable people don’t work with children and protected adults.
We are currently undertaking an ambitious transformation programme which will see Disclosure Scotland working collaboratively with our customers and stakeholders to co-design service improvements. This will ensure that we deliver efficient, proportionate and sustainable services.
We are seeking to enhance the skills and experience of our Board by inviting applications from individuals who have recent experience of working at a senior level in strategic communications who has an understanding of a wide range of communication platforms, including digital.
We are looking for an individual who will bring unrivalled skills and experience to help us successfully transform our business, deliver value to our customers and comply with our responsibilities. If you can demonstrate an inclusive approach to dealing with other Board members and stakeholders, have a focus on the ‘big picture’ and have made a significant contribution to an organisation undergoing transformation then we would welcome your application.
The length of the appointment for the communication post will be for duration of two years. We aim to invite successful candidates to join us in the autumn of 2017.
