Non Executive Board Member - Disclosure Scotland

Disclosure Scotland is offering an exciting opportunity for an individual with exceptional Finance Skills to serve as a Non-Executive Member of the Disclosure Scotland Board.
Disclosure Scotland is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government with a high customer focus, operating on behalf of Scottish Ministers. We help employers make safer decisions when they are recruiting people. We also make sure unsuitable people don’t work with children and protected adults.
We are currently undertaking an ambitious transformation programme which will see Disclosure Scotland working collaboratively with our customers and stakeholders to co-design service improvements. This will ensure that we deliver efficient, proportionate and sustainable services.
We are seeking to enhance the skills and experience of our Board by inviting applications from individuals who have a background in finance, who are qualified accountants Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies professional accountancy body or equivalent) and who have recent experience of public sector financial governance, management and processes.
The length of the appointment for the communication post will be for duration of three years. We aim to invite successful candidate to join us in the autumn of 2017.
