Lay Governors - Glasgow School of Art
Closing date:22 September 2017 at midnight
Appointment of Lay Governors
Ranked as one of the world’s top 20 institutions for art and design, the GSA aims to be a global leader in studio-based learning and research, collaborating globally and transforming thinking through creative approaches with new audiences.
The Glasgow School of Art is ambitious for the future. We want to strengthen our Board of Governors by appointing a number of new external Lay Governors who share our commitment to the GSA’s ambition and values and who can play an active role in helping us realise our potential, extend our impact and achieve our plans. Working with the Board, the Director and the Executive Group, you will help us to maintain strong governance in support of the delivery of both our core business and our strategic ambitions.
The GSA would welcome candidates with a broad range of experience and backgrounds including applications from candidates with specific experience in Education, Estates, Audit Law and Innovation/Entrepreneurship. Applications from traditionally under-represented groups are welcomed, as are applications from the School’s local and wider communities, including GSA alumni.
Committed to equality and diversity.
Closing Date 22 September 2017.
Non-remunerated but travel and other allowable expenses paid.
